Friends, both drum sets are safe. But not set up in the living room.

Just some thunderstorms here; nothing bad. Hope everyone is OK.

^Glad to hear it, man (and everyone else that paosted in here)! With all the hype leading up to the storm, I was expecting a real thrashing. When we got away with some rain and strong winds, I figured it was the same all 'round. I was shocked beyond words when I started watching the news and saw the level of destruction only a few miles away.

And that last picture is by far the biggest chunk of hail I've seen from a local storm. I can't imagine the force that would come down with...

Seriously.

Best I can figure: The car was next to the tree, when the tree toppled the roots lifted the front end up and then dropped the car in the resulting hole.

That, or someone has gap coverage and wanted a new car.

Glad to hear that everyone here was unscathed.

Wind blew the car in to the hole maybe?

That's the best I can figure. The sand piled up on the outside of the tree trunk is odd, but I know that didn't fall from above and crush the car into the ground like that. As much as I wanted to believe that at first glance.

Glad everyone here is OK. I didn't know anything about the storms until I saw it on a friend's FB page.
