It's definitely an alloy, most likely aluminum. If it were pure scandium, it wouldn't be a good bat and would be REALLY fucking expensive

I did a project on scandium alloys. Just a small amount of it added to 6061 aluminum can make a great difference in characteristics.

Yeah it's Scandium alloy sc500. It was an expensive bet too.
