Agreed. The prosecution tried to play to the emotions of the jury because their case was weak from the beginning. As much as I do believe she was guilty, I would have been more disappointed if the prosecution was able to pull of a guilty verdict with their flimsy case.

if they did the defense prolly would have had it overturned on appeal.

True. It would have been a bigger circus than it is now, and Nancy Grace would need an olympic sized swimming pool and acres of Bounty to soak up the vaginal juices she'd be pumping out from being able to stay in the spotlight for 15 more minutes.
