I have a Browning semi auto and just for shits and giggles I bought a Stoeger over/under. still miss my pump though so may get another one some day.

Ah, but if it's dark then you may shoot them in the back... which isn't good when the LEO's show up... One pump and EVERYONE turns in your direction... Much easier to make a case for "he was coming right at me."

I would agree I guess .. but many years ago in my wayward youth I recall the unmistakable sound of a 12 Ga pump cycling behind my right ear..I can tell you it is a fabulous stool softener
