No. It is called a Pergola. It is suppose to be decorative and provide minimal shade. We MAY put some type of cool fabric over it in the hotter months.

I figured as much. Those are kind of strange to me; they just look unfinished.

Looks really nice though. You have a talent that I am envious of. I get scared when the words hammer and nails are used in the same sentance.
