The sprinter and the transit connect ford thing are both nice for what they are made for. Saying the ford is a pos because it's small just shows that their mental capability is dismal. The sprinter which is really just a cheap knock off the mercades is nice, but as stated very pricey and perhaps not the best application for DTE (yes SE, MI energy company/Detroit Edison). Finally, the lack of mental capability doesn't exactly make me feel comfortable being those guys are running the nuclear plant 20 mins from my house.

But the thing that makes me dislike Ford is that they could put a box on wheels and people/corporations would buy it. Chrysler when they were with Diamler they made the Dodge Sprinter offered with a gas engine and the super econo class Diesel. Yeah, I like the bumper too, pretty sure I can hit anything from a squirrel to a moose and anything between without damage! In fact I did get a coon on the way home and barely even felt it.

The Guard has a few Sprinters, the are pretty good for hauling a few people and a bunch of gear.
We used the shit out of the Transit's and the Mercedes Benz version while we were in Germany. Awesome rigs, love the little diesel, pretty peppy.

Rumor is my chevy express work van is gonna get traded for a transit connect in a couple months. Really hope its true

No real need. I wouldn't have swapped out the front bumper, but it was already done so I'm good.
I'd rather spend the $$ on intake (DIY) and Exhaust (MBRP or Magnaflow) a tonneau cover, and maybe wheels and tires

And Local to Austin means a lot of shipping for Cutty!

It fits in my garage, barely. Have to fold in both mirrors, and there's about a foot in front and a few inches in the back.

We got both, I've been rearended. If someone hits this, I get to just shrug and look at their demolished vehicle.

Good plan on the upgrades tho. I can't believe that fits in your garage.
