I guess if you could work that schedule it wouldn't be so bad.

I really got make up for the couple of months I haven't been working.

I'd rather live in Atlanta myself! I guess it's all what you're used to. i came from Michigan and am stoked not to have to deal with the cold/snow... you're running to the coldest state in the union!!!!

Yeah I know. I have been in Atlanta for like 13 years. I love this city but I would like to get out and live other places. I know I will come back though.

I loved Alaska and I sort of look forward to all of the crazy challenges that winter will throw at me. I also can't snowboard in Atlanta so I could actually put some serious mileage on my snowboard if I ended up working at the winter resort up there.

This economic state is going to be a nasty one and I can only hope I get to look back and remember the awesome times I had while the rest of the world struggles to meet their commitments.

Please take lots of pics and post them here often. I love seeing AK and hope to visit there one day. One of my uncles lived there for almost 30 years working for Alascom Telecommunications and absolutely loved it. He is now moved back home and going nuts not having anything to do but spend the money that he made. I heard that he made close to like $50 per hour..........Dayyyyyyyyyuuuuuuuuummmm!

Min wage and tip wages are different. They don't figure regular minimum wages for wait staff as they have supplemental income from their tips.

They get minimum wages by law here as well, they are just less than regular minimum wages for a non wait staff job.
