It's so weird because my day is carrying on as normal.....but it's not normal and it's not ever going to be normal again. The new normal is him not in this world.

That's about all you can do, Mom passed away 2 1/2 weeks ago now but today would have been her b-day. It's weird to not call her and wish her well.....but life does go on and it doesn't slow down for anyone even though it seems like it should sometimes.

I've lost several people close to me in the past 18 months. It's never easy and yes life does go on, and it will never be the same for you. But just remember your friend and don't forget the good times.
