holy shit!! I just googled salvage yards in AL for bikes, friggin HUGE list...
take my word for it, google some in your area, see what you can find, call them up and see what parts they have and what bikes they have in stock. I cant remember the name of the place I used, but it was a GREAT deal on a BRAND NEW engine for my RR, an 05 to replace the 03, ready to drop in with all connections and with shipping costs under $100 it was less than $1600 total to replace my entire engine and hoses and cables...those salvage yards get bikes in ALL the time, brand new as well as older models that have fallen off trailers, been crashed, dropped, huge damage, minor damage, you name it, and typically MUCH cheaper than brand new, especially if you go there and take what you need and you can find pieces you need completely undamaged! |

This would also be a good time to switch to engine ice or liquid performance.

and i have no idea why because tehre does not appear to be any damage... maybe there is supposed to be a rubber stop there or something that got knocked off in the wreck. I donno about this one, time to google for a service manual. Last edited by NONE_too_SOFT; 06-10-2008 at 06:29 PM.. |

Its the typical shit that breaks when the bike goes down...been there and done that a couple times. Looks like it wasn't too bad...the cosmetics just make it look bad.
Just wait and buy on ebay when you can. |
