Yeah, I wouldn't stop shooting either. The guy may be down, but he isn't dead and likely still has the gun. He can easily point the gun and shoot while laying on the floor so I'd still shoot the fucker while he's down.

I a recent shooting at a party in Toronto, where a 24 year old and a 14 year old were killed, the first shooter hit the second shooter, then the second shooter started returning fire from the ground. Damned right I'd keep shooting. There's an expression for it; "coup de grace."
