I don't really see how it is a problem. I was watching the Grambling state game where they were talking about it on saturday. There are a ton of all black schools that play D1-AA football that are damn good.

it's the fact that there is STILL segregation period... let alone the fact that if a game was created with just the opposite in mind... you'd have the NAACP all over your ass.

it's the same with BET, Black movie awards, black history month. I completely understand having pride in your culture and ancestry... but when you fight any sort of segregation applied by anyone... then turn and do it yourself... it's hypocritical.

I think a large reason why race is still a big issue today is because it's perpetuated by situations like this. just adds fuel to the fire

That would probably be the only way we got rid of racism. If we all just became mixtures. I am sure we would find other things to be nancy about though.

the thing is we basically are... if I had to guess I'd say 85%+ of the US has mixed heritage... not necessarily black/white... but mixed none the less...
