It's all good. That 80 hours was money well spent as far as I'm concerned.
I'm not sure which is worse; being grilled on the stand over breaches of employment standards or getting a IRS proctological exam? Maybe you should have subjected him to both, so that you could ask?

Always sucks to hear that. Change is good but it's sometimes a hassle when the catalyst is not of your doing. Good luck.

Casual Male XL. They are now about to liquidize all their locations into a new business model of Destination XL. But Columbus wont see one until late summer/early fall...

You would think. But winter is not the best hiring time for companies, and Columbus is pretty shitty right now as far as entry level jobs go. Most companies want positions with 5-7 years experience. And some companies are hunkering down, waiting for this "fiscal cliff" bullshit...

My "vacation" is my accrued vacation based on worked hours. They will pay that out in a lump sum check. My PTO is a standard 7 days added on to your account on the first day of the fiscal year, and the first day of the fiscal Q3. Basically your "sick" days. That is what is not payable. So I'm going to damn well take them before I show the deuces...
