i was honestly wondering if maybe i'd developed an alergy to them, this sunovabitch hurt BAD. it was one of those big ass bumble bees too, i've gone my whole life wondering whether they could sting you or not, and now i regret not killing every single one i've ever encountered.

Had a bee hit me in the neck. Thought it was a good idea to get home asap since I've never been stung by one. I could feel my throat close up some.
Not riding, but I had a red jacket sting me in the temple. Felt like someone punched me in the head. Man that hurt. |

See, if you didn't wear a jacket it wouldn't get stuck and probably just bounce off of you.

I had this happen while riding in the NC mountains. I got stung in the chest while going through some twisties...honestly thought "is this what a heart attack would feel like...surely I'm not having one" . Finally got to a pull off and while standing there explaining it to the two riders with me the SOB hit me again on the side of my stomach !! I at that point couldn't get my gear off fast enough and when I got down to my t-shirt and was pulling it off a little Yellow Jacket buzzes out and away...didn't even get to kill the $hit !! Not fun.

I'm not going to tell the story about the time my buddy had a burrowing beetle fly into his helmet.
I'm definitely not going to explain all the gory details about how the beetle went into his ear, and ate through his eardrum while blood ran down his neck, because that would leave your bee-sting thread looking rather shabby and pathetic, and I'm just not that kind of guy. JC
