Rear seat doesn't look bad. From the one picture it looks like there is some contour to it so your butt would fit into it nicely. It also doesn't look like it slants as much as some of the sport bikes also making a decent ride.

I was thinking the same thing, and with that slight hump it would help the passenger from sliding into the rider too. He's got a girl, so that would come in handy.

Another nice thing about the back seat is the oh shit bars for bracing yourself during a stop or take off so you aren't slamming into the one driving. A lot of people make fun, but they are nice for that and for moving the bike around.

Yeah, it's a little bit more comfy than the sportbikes, but when he was talking about touring two up and such, figured it would be a little less aggressive.

My bike has this hump on the passenger seat and it is as comfortable as you can get on a sportbike. The other factor on passenger comfort are the foot pegs placement and the tail section.

I've just been spoiled by the GS and expect higher levels of comfort now.

yeah, that would work. I was going to go sargent, but I really want something I don't have to worry about comfort at all. So I bought a set of extra seat pans and shipped them off to Russell Day Long for custom made seats.
