Actually it sorta makes sense, More people have been hurt and died from being run over at night than have been shot on a base. Since the madatory PT belt was implimented pedestrian accidents at night has virtually dissapeared.

But yeh it looks stupid.

Nice... nah, it was private, 16S, maybe 18 or 19 that was honestly dog tired/ half heat exausted. Sleeping in a sack next to his Hummer in a camo'd position. The tanks had been going by all evening and night... one got a little off track. I've fallen asleep many, many times in a moving apc/Vulcan when I wasn't driving or in the gunner's position... It's surprising what you can sleep through if you're tired enough and if you're used to the noise... Besides, the way the sound carried, it was sometimes hard to tell where anything was.
