I don't get to ride enough to get bored. It doesn't matter about the group thing. I enjoy riding by myself. However, I do like going to the track and meeting up with a bunch of folks I know.

The only times I have ever been bored or riding or motorcycles is when I am not getting an opportunity to ride. Long winters, injury, whatever the reason I get tired of talking about it, bored thinking about it, think I could sell them all and quit. Then I go for aride and my enthusiasm starts all over again.

Solitude can be a good thing. I'm not sure bikes really are a social thing, leastways not for me; I enjoy the occasional group ride, but some of the most memorable rides have been alone time (no offense, Marko). I just enjoy the experience; be it a short commute, a trip to the store, or a cross-country butt burning endurance dash.... it's all good....

I do get bored with it. I'll pull the bike out, get my gear ready and then just not go.. It happens from time to time. I doubt I'll ever get bored enough to stop riding. But, it does happen.
Any thing can get boring when you do it every single day. |
