words. takes an extra 2 seconds and if you're in a situation where you need to use shorter words in order to pay attention... you shouldn't be texting.

OK, just checking. I thought it was an age thing - though, I won't even acknowledge a text from my daughters unless it's actual words.

I just got a text - and I want her to buy a vowel, or five. She's 30, and I don't even know how her phone would let her do this to someone....
