Reason #4849 why I've never been to a "bike night" gathering at any bar and don't plan to.

It's not used bikes that are the issue....it's the owners. I've said it before and I'll say it again....you want to buy a used "keeper"?....Look at the owner. I've bought used bikes that I would classify as "neglected". The owners were casual about service and appearance. Then their are the "abusers"....see the above asshats. And then, there are the guys and gals that are ANAL about service....that's who I want to buy a keeper from.
Look and listen to the owner and in 30 seconds of them talking you'll know just what kind of shape that bike is REALLY in.......... |

Yup. the person I got my Hurricane from told me what I wanted to know, and one look at my bike shows the type of people the previous owners were. 40K on the clock, but the motor is so clean that you'd only really think it had about 5k well cared for miles on it. fairings though, umm, what fairings? all of em are broken in some way except my lowers, which are nonexistant.

the most hated part about this is that theyre starting em up cold and instantly throwin em on the hi side limiter. fuckin tards, and the dumb chick is like "now u, now u, your turn" fuck all your shit up lol. the v twin sounds funny in comparison
i love the limiter sound tho, just not at 14+k rpm, more like around 6-8k depending on track conditions , i hear that and its like instant focus cuz all hell is about to break loose... i love drag racing
