its been in the family for years. Prolly the only thing ill inherit from my maternal grandmother. Besides, its got a strong place in history: iirc it was one of the first games to feature a boss, one of the few to have a full voice synth, plus the programmer changed sexes . As for others, no i dont. I know of a good copy of warbirds thats dirt fucking cheap that i'll probably try to scoop as my xmas present if it sticks around and id kill for a decent copy of galaga, raiden, or giga wing. Big vertical shooter fan

her deadbeat ex actually. ive never been as much of a fan of horizontal shooters though salamander/lifeforce and area 88/un fighters were strong favorites. You ever see that youtube vid of the japanese guy playing both sticks on raiden IV?

no connection, just love it because of the corny voice, and it seemed scarier and more threatening than galaga or shit like that

when i was a kid i used to think that thing was haunted cause it would talk at random times when you werent playing it stopped working a few years ago. Been looking for a decent tech to repair/restore it. Till then theres always mame, might throw it on the gf's lappy and play some gorf on my big screen tonight
