At the same time you could also say that your hometown's residents turned your hometown in to a ghost town. WalMart can build a store but they can't force people to shop there. If the residents hadn't chosen to go there it would be the WalMart that was out of business.

I shop there all the time, don't hate or love them. They are just convenient for me.

Walmart is a last-ditch effort type thing for me. I avoid it for the most part, but do go occasionally. For instance, the other night, I needed 9mm ammo and cranberry juice at like 2am. Where else could I have gotten those items.

The people at walmart, though, absolutely fucking sicken me- employees and patrons alike. The vast majority are obese, uneducated, trailer trash walking around in fucking ridiculous clothing with absolutely no sense of shame or care for anyone other than themselves.

I needed ammo because I was going shooting in the morning, and my wife wanted cranberry juice for mixing with her vodka.

It does sound kinda fucked up when you say it out loud, though.

Interested information from www.wakeupwalmart.com

Taxpayers foot the bill for Walmart’s failure to provide adequate wages and benefits.

Walmart has thousands of associates who qualify for Medicaid and other publicly subsidized care, leaving taxpayers to foot the bill.

For instance, Walmart has the greatest number of associates and associate dependents on Medicaid in Ohio, costing taxpayers $44.8 million in 2009.

Over 41.4% of Walmart’s total workforce in Massachusetts used publicly subsidized health care, costing taxpayers $15.5 million in 2008.

Public assistance used by Walmart associates cost California an estimated $86 million a year, according to a 2004 study.

In 21 of 23 states where data is available, Walmart forces more employees to rely on taxpayer-funded health care than any other employer.
So you are just gonna stop shopping altogether in a few years correct?

Walmart seems to be a very regional experience, the ones by me are nothing special and don't really leach business from anywhere else. Then again I don't live in BFE like some folks.

Hate it.

Takes too long to check out, the self checkouts never work and end up taking twice as long as waiting in line, there are too many retarded people there that won't get the fuck out of my way, and their shit isn't organized at all.
