That's what I'm using. Rotella only offers 1 viscosity in dino, and 1 in synthetic. I run the synthetic.

15W-40 in dino, 5W-40 in synthetic. That's what I've been able to find.
I did my first oil change to dino at 84 miles. I ran with Rotella 15W-40 dino and changed the oil again at 448, 1005 and 2714 miles. At 3145 miles, I switched to Rotella 5W-40 Synthetic and am currently at roughly 3800 miles on the odometer, still running that first batch of synthetic. The bike seems to like it just fine. The only person I've seen complain about Rotella is that Amsoil dealer on the other forum (which I no longer visit). Go figure. |
