I know you are shopping exhausts but I'd consider powdercoat or high temp black painting that canister immediately! The gold on the forks may have been a little off but that silver is totally alone and out of place on that bike! Oh and don't forget the rearsets, although I'm sure that you won't! Man,nice looking bike Dlit!!!
Thanks, man. Can will be next year probably. Rearsets, too. CF and black, respectively.

Trying to get 'em today instead of Friday, so pics may be a lot sooner, hopefully.

I've wanted to do the same thing. The gold doesn’t match anything on the 08.
I agree with Tigger paint the can. Best 8 bucks I every spent.

Nice dude... that will look much better. It bugged me how the wheels and forks didn't match. I like my black forks.

They're going to be getting some work done on em, too

Nope... diff colors, diff color forks. From 06+, they have had black forks and gold forks to go with the diff colored bikes.

The forks and wheels look like they match in the first pic but if they don't as you stated then I agree...black tubes will look alot better imho.

Painting the stock can sounds like a winner too. I may do that on the wife's R6.

Yeah I never liked those. WTF is that like a goldy-gunmetal-green-metallic puke?

Truth. Those wheels don't match a goddamn thing. But the black can is tough.
