I hope the parents sue for false arrest for this utter abuse of power.

Definitely over the top but it sounds like she's no stranger to drama. She's "throwing up and can't attend school". Yaaaa right!

It's amazing the heartache and pain that occurs when the reporters are taking notes and thoughts of lawsuit pop into your head.

I read that as she is still suspended and stressed. I would be too.

This is how I see it..

The parents complained until the teachers had no authority. Now when the teachers contact the authorities, the parents complain.

I really want to feel bad for her, but try as I might, I absolutely cannot give a shit. The politicians catered to people who would vote for them, and the complainers/whiners had their say while everybody else was too lazy to write their members of parliament/congress or vote and this is what happened.

Sucks to be us/them. But, we made our bed and until we're ready to do something about it, we'll just have to continue to live with it.

I think that's a pretty good assessment of how we landed in this position. If it was 1980 instead of 2010 she would've gotten a little corporal punishment and told not to write on the desks anymore, end of story.
