Corvette owners have been doing it for a long time, there is no lately about it. My dad is one and I know he has been doing it at least since 1978 when the 25th anny came out.

The car show guys have been doing it awhile too. The old car rallys they have in pigeon forge/gatlinburg around here have been doing it since as long as I can remember.

You would hate it here 101. I basically ride with one hand from all the waving.

Well you guys have like 4 months riding over there, while we are year round. Since I commute by bike, I'm not waving to anyone while I commute, unless I'm in the canyons carvin it up.

Your right about that. I would wave to all bikes. At one point I was just going to mount a glove to the left side of my bike as a permanent wave.

I commute as well for parking reasons. It takes me 7 minutes. I still meet 4 to 5 bikes.

We have a very large motorcycle scene considering our climate and pop density.

I should take a pic of our bike nights. There are multiple spots on the same night. Each spot draws a couple hundred bikes.

I always wave in the vette or on my bike so when I heard a while back that Miata drivers do too I decided to give it a try...Miata drivers around here just give me weird looks.

When I was a jeeper I did it, wrangler owners only tho...

Never got waved at in the miata, lots of other things, but no miata fellowship...

Never get waved at in the stang either, tho people always wanna size me up and race. Guess they forget women typically have faster reflexes.

And as for waving on the bike, I'll always do it. We're all brothers and sisters on two, why not have the comraderie and fellowship? I dont see how thats remotely gay either...

I got honked at by a fellow diesel truck today, but the hubby says its not cuz of the truck.

You've got the wrong year for that, I always got waves from other classic mustangs when I had the '66

I try to always wave at other motorcycles regardless of what they're riding. It's funny to me that around here at least I sometimes won't get waves from the cruiser crowd even when I'm on the harley, I think it must be because I'm all geared up I'm not cool enough to get a wave.
Sportbikers pretty much always wave, regardless of what I'm riding. I try to do the same.
