A couple of impressions after my short first ride:

1. Wind protection sucks. The Lightning has to be torture.

2. Downshift...what the hell is that? Not needed.

3. Drummer exhaust =

4. Front brake = CASH MONEY. Rear brake = Useless.

1) When you're as... *ahem*... wide... as I am, wind protection sucks on just about everything. You get used to the lack thereof. I enjoy the breeze.

2) 3rd gear is your friend. It's the only fucking gear you'll ever need. Cruising speed is a solid 75mph and is just about perfect for any situtation. The only time mine gets out of 3rd is when I'm on the highway or Drewpy's crazy ass decides to hammer it in the straights.

3) I can't wait to get mine together... I'd love to compare!

4) Front brake is good. I got some new pads ready to go on... Hopefully they'll provide a little more feel. Rear brake is only good for standing the fucking bike up in a turn. Don't ever use it.

The damper is a LSL...tucked in nicely under the bottom triple.

Yep, those are the sweet ones... They're the only ones that make one that's hidden IIRC... Most of the time I see these:

XB's are rock solid without them... But since you already have it included... fuck it!

Pink plastics are scheduled for tomorrow. Pilots are depended on how I feel about the Corsa III's.
