we were contemplating a mini, and even took a demo to kid r us to try baby seats, no go to my dismay.

even the new mini clubman is a tad small for child car seats.

There isn't an issue with front facing car seats in the Mini Coopers. It's only infant Rear-Facing

No, I didn't go out and get a new car with the kids. Though, my ex-husband got me a mini-van because women in mini-vans "don't get hit on". And, we got the extended cab on the Tundra to carry normal sized humans that we can't easily transport in the Mini.

in our opinion, it was a prob , and that was w/ a clubman (JCW) within the last 4-5 mos, so a reg. mini woulda been worse.

However, when the time comes, the wife will be pimping a new minivan about 30 minutes after the doctor confirms pregger status.

I got a 4-door sedan while I was pregnant .... my 2-door wouldn't have worked.

Then I got an SUV ... worked WAY better.

yeah, the van was a bit much for just 3 of us. we had planned for another kid, and it hadn't come to fruition YET. so we swapped payments basically.

now that we are prego again, seems like a mistake, but i think getting rid of it was the thing that made it happen..........lol
