The top one stuck in pretty good, but the barbs are only about .25" long. They are designed kinda like the end of a fish hook. The electricity has some type of cauterizing (sp?) effect. Most people don't bleed. I bled a little, and the one in her but had a drop of blood.

It is unbelievable pain. The only way I can describe it is a cramp in every muscle, including you face, and at the same time, someone is hitting you with a bat. It is the longest five seconds ever. 50,000 volts, but low amps. that's why it doesn't kill you.

My wife watched this over my shoulder last night....she said "That girl is TOUGH...but...if you ever shoot me with a Taser it's your ASS!!!"

I was like, FFS I didn't even DO anything and I'm getting yelled at.

She took it really well.

I tried to get the lady cop that used to do security work for my previous employer to hit me with the taser, but she never would do it.
Apparently the PD makes them account for every cartridge (to prevent 'misuse').
She wouldn't even hit me with the stun gun portion.
