I'm kinda diggin' the zombie mosh pit in the barn. But this just means they will escape and kill the people that locked them in there.

FWIW If I were in this situation, I would gather up a few zombies and see how long they can survive without food.... Perhaps, we could outlast them.

Doesnt seem like it but I think that may be what the old guy is doing. In the on eepisode where they chase the girl, rick says he gets tired running and they dont. I would want to know if they have fear, react to pain and find any other weaknesses to exploit aside from mashing their brains in.
