I rode with the "street kings" today. I was a little nervous...but they turned out to be pretty good guys. And some wore vests.

There are a couple big get togethers scheduled here in Des Moines while I'm here... we shall see how it goes.

I've already seen that no one wears gear, and one of the places offers free beer for the first 100 people there.

it's a MOSQ school.
They have a PX on post, sells hot dogs and shit.
Johnston/Des Moines are just outside the front gate, so no biggy to go grab a bite, just kinda odd.
