That is badass man! Fuckin A congrads! You put it to em for the team IMO. These half ass tow companies need to understand that they need to treat our vechicles (bikes or cars/trucks) with fuckin respect!

like I said I recently delt with a impound yard (tow company) and they took pride in taking care of the vechicles. They did charge for an extra man to help in strapping in the bike. Cause they tow guy can't winch in or move the flat bed while holding the bike. But that is fine cause they took care of the bike (not mine). RESPECT!

And with the $1500 what will it cost you to repair the damage with flebay parts?

Trust me though, $200 isnt nearly worth my time and the effort I put into this. Plus they still have 30 days to appeal the decision

I understand that! But you're not out any money. And you did share fault in it by your actions and not having the proper paperwork. So all in all not bad.

I disagree with you on that. Yes i didn't have my ins card, but they should not have damaged the bike, and if they did and it was an accident then they should be able to provide me with liability insurance, especially since they are contracted by the government to provide the towing service.

What I mean is that you are the root cause of the entire problem. Had you had the proper info it would have never been towed. So that should at least make it that the $200 up but loads time down. Should equal out.

I disagree, it doesnt matter if I should have been towed or not, by all rights I was towed for a valid reason, and rightly so. I can still bitch and moan that the cop could have let us go with a warning and not towed us, but he did what he was supposed to do.

The real issue is how the tow truck driver unloaded the bikes. He needed help to get the bikes on the truck, and I will bet anything that he needed help to unload them, except there wasnt help and my guess is that is how it was damaged. If he needed help and didnt get it or didnt ask for it then it is totally their fault
