DLA is dislocation allowance. It's an allowance that you get only if you're not moving into dorms/base-housing. It's an allowance to get you set up, you know, grocieries and all that good stuff. But, since I'm set up already, the $1268 is going towards other shit. And I'll still get house hunting days even know my wife's here still. And we'll actually be looking for a new place for us and our room mates to move to.
