Joe Rocket magnetic tank bag. Or my man purse as my wife likes to call it.

Might also look into ASP's for personal protection.I know a couple people who ride with them.

The guy with the pipe didn't get close enough before I took off on the bike, helmet around my arm. He had already almost run one of us off the road. CCW does not mean you shoot everybody that threatens you but don't tell me that people don't get killed everyday by violence. If I can and need to protect myself....I will.

People tell me all the time that I dont need a gun. I went to Virginia Tech. I dont need any one to tell me that the lives of the innocent are not taken away every day by criminals. 2 more students lost their lives at VT this past week. And that is a SAFE town.

yep read about that last week. Sad that they were just out camping when they were killed. I ride the western part of VA and into WV often, never know where the wacko's are.

i think if somebody's gonna kill you, they're gonna do it before you get a chance to get one out of a tank/tail/ bag, fannypack, etc, if somebody pulled a gun on me to steal my bike, if i just let em have it, they MAY not shoot, if i ATTEMPT to pull out a gun, then i just gave them a reason to go and pull the trigger on the gun they already have aimed at my head, now if they just have a bat, piece of pipe, etc...i MIGHT try to get my gun out

dont nobody wanna go gun on gun, it never ends good....been shot, stabbed, cut...etc, etc, etc

i can see keeping one in the house, maybe in the car, but i cant see fumbling for one on a bike under jackets and leathers as being a good idea, like i said when you're attacker see's you making moves like that, he may just go ahead and end your struggling

I'm all for gun rights, etc and defending yourself, dont get me wrong, but if the need to pull a gun comes around, you better make sure you can get it in about half a second

Now if someone or a group are approaching with evil intentions, and you cant get gone quick enough, but ya have time to unholster, yeah maybe then i'd show it to them and let them know they shouldnt have brought a bat/knife, etc to a gun fight

couple of side notes:

1. i think there are plenty of people out there that need shot

2. i cant own firearms anyway
