Did the 600RR come stock with a 520 chain? You changing gearing from stock I assume?

No it didn't... and yeah I'm going up 1 in the back... I don't really need to... but I wanted to replace the chain and felt like change'n out the sprockets at the same time... Cycle sector had a deal on renthal sprockets and DID ERV3 chains... but didn't offer the rear sprocket in the same size as stock... so I went 1 tooth higher... no big deal... shouldn't effect my MPG much... and not like I'll be winding this thing out top end either

Yeah I bought the bike used from trip's bro... put 1000 miles on it... but it's sat for a while now... I've cleaned the chain and lubed it once already because it was already showing rust... damn sea air... but I had the money... and figure if nothing else... I'll keep these around for spares...
I didn't need a new chain or sprocket for sure... just wanted it for peace of mind |
