I've run a few 10k's and that is about it for me...even that has been a while.

I just never got that "natural high" that people claim to get.

I really didn't enjoy the 10k's...just did it to show I could.

I never really cared about running more than 2 - 3 miles when working out. I figure...if I haven't caught whomever I'm chasing by 2 miles or so...feck it..let em' go...and if I haven't gotten away from whomever is chasing me by 2 or 3 miles...feck it I'll just consider myself caught or we're just gonna have to scrap right then and there...last man standing wins.

my sister runs 4 or 5 marathons a year. She's doing one in ottawa soon.

Thanks for the info everyone.

I've decided to run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon this year.

Going to be a long, tough hall, but right now, I need something bigger in my life; some goal to work toward.

Original plan was 2012 but I think I'm ready (mentally) now to tackle this challenge.
