Were you in the Navy? What ship? I think 1998 is when I took those photos. I was on the USS Paul Hamilton.

I couldn't hang on the chipping hammer game. I constantly got my butt kicked.

A buddy of mine had this weird way of flicking beer bottle caps and challenged them to that game. He even showed them how to do it. They played him once or twice, then gave up. He could easily flip a bottle cap 20-30 feet without even trying. They flew like little frisbees!

Nah, I've never served.
I was there with my dad. He was working a project in Kuala Lumpur and had to take R&R out of Malaysia every couple of months just to get his passport re-stamped. I went over and spent a week in Malaysia and ~5 days in Phuket.
