I don't know what all of everybody's opinions on the war is, but i don't necisarily care. This thread is about the TROOPS only, so nothing about the war.
If someone has something bad to say about the troops, they can fuck off. This board is very pro-US troops.

I heard on the news that some people put up signs to welcome home a son back from Iraq and the neighborhood association took them all down because some people complained about it being in support of the war. All it said was welcome home (son's name) and had the us flag on it. There are some very sad sad individuals in this world.

Just goes to show that there are many many many ... dumbasses in this world. These are the same people who will be Screaming the loudest for help and protcetion if they are ever "wronged".
Did you hear about the group of idots that were protesting at military funerals, making a real ass of themselves and harrasing the families? A group of bikers now travels around the country to "protect" the families of fallen soliders. They line the road of the cemetaries holding American flags making sure that no one gets close enough to be a problem. They also stand "guard" at the funeral homes and churches.

They are called the Patriot Guard, I believe several of our members are active in the organization. They provide an invaluable service to those families and my hats off to them. If only they could beat the crud out of those unpatriotic, poor excuses for american citizens!

As always, my support is all for the troops, most of my family, friends and shoot, my entire local area is, was or will be military, including my two younger sisters. I fear for them all, but am proud to know such great people are supporting and standing up for America.

That's the Westboro Church, they protest all kinds of shit besides the war to get under people's skin.

I think its a pretty safe bet to assume that ANY anti Troop person who felt the need to be an ass here would quickly find their way AWAY from all of us...

Some things we happen to feel strongly about, and MANY of our members are troops...

Thanks for the info! I had only seen a small blip on the news one night. Couldn't believe that anyone would act like that to a grieving family. Would be nice if we could knock some "sence" into 'em huh?
If any of our members are active in the Patriot Guard Thank You for what you do! Does anyone know if you have to have a military background to be of service to the org?

Thanks a lot you guys, I get to go play in the sand soon. I'll see some of ya the next time I'm in the states (and hopefully I'll see some of ya even sooner).
