The '09 R6S, and the other S years have always had conventional forks, they're still non-inverted.

It literally is the same exact bike as the '04 but with different paint schemes every new year it comes out. Literally, down to the weight and everything.

the only year they offered the inverted forks was 05... 06 it went to the new body... and the R6s went back to the non-inverted forks... where apparently.... it stayed
