I ride by myself most of the time, but i have one buddy who doesnt ride like a jackoff (the rest do) and he comes along sometimes. Then ill go for a cruise with my dad and his friends sometimes.

Jeeps is the only person I've ridden with solo. Before I got my own bike I'd hop on the back and we'd just take off by ourselves. There are a couple guys we hook up with on occasion though.

I have to say, I tend to stay with knowns. Being in squiddise (squid paradise) I'm picky about who i'll risk my neck with.
I've got a close knit local group, the track whores as Papapoi so aptly named us (deserter! ). Also pretty much anyone from here that I've ridden with. We are familiar and comfortable and our expectations are clear up front. No douchebagging. I like to stop after a of bit of riding for a few minutes, but dont expect me to stick around if we're stopping every few miles. If you ride with us, you get a location, a time to be there, a few minutes to be late (alot actually, what biker is EVER on time cept Ebbs), and thats it. You dont show, or catch up, youre outta luck. I dont like jerks, but newbs dont bother me, and I have no problem mentoring someone who genuinely cares about riding but if you're in it to show off or be "cool", you get nuthin from me. |

And youre on your own for the bluetooth or chatterbox. Love you guys, but when Im riding, the only noise besides the road i want is my ipod. If ya cant communicate via sign language, youre outta luck!

I will ride with anyone, once. After that only the safe ones and by that I mean some folks can be safe at 140 and some can't be safe at 50. Ebbs was great to ride with, and my best friend is a great wingman on his Duc 900. There are a few guys from the AR MSF I ride with sometimes, and my racer friends from the ZX10 forum in MO.
I need to feel som elevel of trust to be comfortable after that I can mix it up with anyone or any kind of bike. Some of the guys you know best and trust you can have more fun with cause you kinda know what they are gonna do and how hard you can push each other. I want in on the Chatterbox group buy too!
