I should have listened to it on NPR or something. It was the circus surrounding the speech that I couldn't stomach. Lesson learned for next year, I suppose.

I managed to catch the last 25 minutes.

The man can give a great speech, I'll give him that.

But that's it. I did not really feel like he meant what he was saying. He was talking the talk, but I want to see him and congress walk the walk. Then my "distrust" of our government will start to recede.
