Cling wrap isn't too bad, its if you buy the generic cling wrap, it gets all wrapped up in itself and never rips properly.

Cling wrap does not play well with plastic...especially 20 year old Tupperware plastic. At that point, you might as well wrap it all the way around the bowl until it sticks to itself again. Try getting Tupperware with lids..

It does however, stick awesome to metal mixing bowls...
