Uma will be riding on the back of my bike. If for some reason she doesn't the back seat may be open on my bike. I want somebody on the back. With the headsets on teh intercomm it will give me somebody to talk to.
Wild... I don't see why you couldn't meet up with us. I'm not sure how we are giong out there but come on wisconsin... how far are you from Chicago? Or maybe meet up in south dokota? Rider can easily meet my crew either at my place or in like coldwater on our way towards the indiana border. I don't have the details yet, and really I'm not organizing it either. I know that we are talking about being out there for the last weekend of the rally. Staying outside of town for maybe 1 night or 2. Then other places in neighboring states. We will probably hit like 10 states thru the trip. I'm wiling to bet we'll do 10-12hrs per day. I figure on it being a 5,000 mile trip for me. Change my oil before we leave and again when I get back. I'm good for about 600 miles a day then I need a few hours to recoup. I can do more but then it just becomes not fun. Of coarse this is without a passenger. What I mean, is maybe with a passenger I can go longer. Understand I really don't feel a person back there. Its awesome. And cutty... you should come as well!! alright!!! it's way too early in the morning to be screwing with people like that. LOL picked the thread and see messages from the other.
gas - yeah chi is a 1 1/2 hr from me and really if you're going through on 90 it's not far from my house at all. 600 a day sounds reasonable although i haven't done it on this bike. I have many times on my triumph sprint, cbr, and a zx6r so this shouldn't be bad. no worries - those are valid points and i had considered it that way, but i do kind of want to see the rally as well. i have done a couple other large rallies and yeah it tries your patience at times but it also brings a different sense of comraderie as well. ebbs - you have to edit that, it leaves way too many jokes about your girl and your dead wood available. I definitely want to do Sturgis one day...looks like a blast. I've done Daytona several times...Myrtle Beach a few times as well and Laconia, NH once but NEVER Sturgis.

600 isnt bad. Can do that in ~9hrs. But if all you are doing is riding... push it out to 12hrs. Longer break and shit... |
