I was thinking that the free version just had limited options. Did it give you a time limit for use?

it's a time limit... BUT it never stopped me from using it... just popped up with an annoying message saying trial was over.
may have also turned off the auto album art download. I bought it in the end... it's a kick ass app and figure I use it enough to spare the $ |

I use an app called Advanced Task Killer that kills all running apps that you select. There is always a bunch of crap running in the background, and it tends to slow the phone down a bit, esp if I am streaming music. For example typing this post while I am listening to Pandora would be excruciatingly slow with 10 or 15 things running at once. I run the ask killer every now & then to keep things moving along. Can't really prove it but I think it makes the battery last longer between charges too.

If you load a new ROM/kernel on the phone, which is very easy, you could easily run that. I don't have a droid (HTC Desire), but the droid is supposed to be capable of a lot more performance than the way it is stock.

I guess I've never gotten the "JUMP IN A THREAD THAT I HAVE NO INTEREST IN AND TELL EVERYONE THERE HOW STUPID THEY ARE" maneuver...I mean if you don't have an Android device that's cool but why rain on our parade? I guess my life is full enough that I don't feel the need to pop into threads that I have no interest in....
