There is something to consider as well is a car from the Big 3 american companies... or if something like Honda is real big in your area due to a factory, get one of those. Show that you're supporting "them".

Have you sat in any new Kia recently? I hate to say it but there stepping up there game. The sorrento is a very nice Crossover and the Forte Coupe is right in line with the civic (I actually think its styled better IMO) And the Optima is also right there with the accord/sonata/camry class. Kia makes decent auto's for cheaper than the "popular" brands like Honda/Toyo/Mitsubishi.

Skip the Lexus... might as well get a Toyota at that point.
BMW... if you're going to go there, get it new as they include maintenance with the purchase [worth it] Nissan... all the people I know with it are pretty happy with the vehicle. They aren't thrilled enough to talk everyone into buying one themselves, but they have no drama with them. Caddy... the one friend I have with one regrets it, says it drives "funny" like it's swimming down the freeway at speed. He's had it in for them to fix, just get the answer "nothing wrong, that's how it drives" Pfffffffft.

I actually love that Optima though I'm kinda pissed they just redesigned it again. I'll probably wait a couple more years and get another Optima or a Sorento.

Think you should get the Murano. Thing looks tight, handles well, and it's not too big.
