Nope.

I can guarantee they actually needed someone else's help, not mine so they called other people and got an answer.

I get a lot of calls this time of the month(right after the first) about things I can't help with.

that's fine but another scenario works like this:

I left a backup on my voicemail (if y'all haven't figured it out yet, I travel alot for my job). They'll call my backup and they'll say that they will wait until I come back but just "wanted to be sure he got the message"

by the way, when you get my voicemail, it means I'm busy because I'm either on the phone or on a freakin' plane. You want to chase your tail all day, by all means. I'll be getting other stuff done in the meantime.

Well...the squeaky oil gets the wheel.

I've been given the brush-off after leaving a voicemail simply because I wasn't a priority (as most voicemails aren't).

I don't have the option of ignoring someone. They might not get a response immediately, but I have to respond. I have 24 hours to respond to a voicemail/email or any request and if I don't I get dinged on my weekly eval thing.

But since they don't leave a message, I don't have anything to get dinged on.
