I know you're all asking if No Worries would buy one. No, it's great for racing, but not that good for the street. Here's what Cycle World says "Net result was that we needed to maintain 9,000 rpm throughout the launch, while aiming for full clutch engagement by 60 mph."

My old CBR made 50 lbs/ft of torque at 2,000. The RSV4 makes 50 pounds at 5,000. The 1000F made 60 pounds at 4,000, the RSV4 makes 60 at 8,000. The tall first gear only compounds the lack of torque down low. Horsepower? That's for bragging rights. If you have to know, the CBR made 113 at 9,250. The RSV4 makes 146 at 12,500.

I just read the article. Seems like the full clutch engagement by 60mph deal was at the drag strip. They said it had good 'round town manners.

The BMW is a steal for the price, but I'd be willing to pay more for the Aprilia because it's a V4 and looks hot. Also, Aprilia prices typically drop a lot anyway.

The CW cover pic is the best I've ever seen of the RSV4. Almost looks normal when everything is at 45 degrees.

I think the stock exhaust looks fine. Granted it's big, but at least it's dark.

I like it but if I was considering that type of a bike I would probably get a Duc 1198 instead.
