Boo's actually the one that asked me to do it. I guess he had spoken to my buddy and his bike and was telling him how sad he was that I took him TO the track but not ON the track.

He didn't want to sit on the sidelines anymore....so he finally convinced me.

Booked for September 5th. Absolutely shitting my pants at the moment but I'm sure I'll be fine once I'm out there.

Wish me luck!

Don't. It's supposed to be a fun day. The looser and more comfortable you are, the faster you'll be and the more you'll learn. Don't totally over-obsess about being ready, someone will have whatever tool you've forgotten. Go out and have a drink or two the night before and have fun, that's the whole point.

And post some pics What track?

I am hoping that all of my nervousness will just float away on the track and I will just hunker down and do what I need to do. I think I'm more nervous that all of my mates will be there to watch me.

Track is called TMP (Toronto Motorsports Track - Cayuga). Gearing up for the start of the addiction!

Just try to relax. You have nothing to prove to anyone. Keep an open mind about learning and working on the techniques/drills. Everything else will come as the day progresses.

In case they don't teach you this - if you think you are tense, flap your elbows like a chicken... this will (should) help you relax.

Don't be nervous.. Just think of it as a normal road minus the idiot cagers, no gravel, everyone going the same direction ect ect.
