This movie is hella old now, if it is still in theaters I can see the point, but this thing has been out on DVD for awhile. I think you are on your own at that point.

Ok guess it is time to remind everyone of my age again but This movie is a remake (deliberate or not) of The Omega Man with Charlton Heston. The effects are better in I am Legend arguably the acting is better too but the editing and directing in "I am Legend" Sucks! I went to the theater knowing it was a remake and got up and walked out it was so bad.

It's actually not a remake, it is an adaptation. There are a lot of versions of this story and are all based off a book. The book is actually called "I am legend," and it is a classic piece of literature.

oh gawd yeah, theyve made several adaptations/versions of this, the latest is the 4th or 5th I think...never saw the others, was basically dragged to this one...
