East Tenn has a shit ton of yankee transplants. I have never heard of issues besides them bringing their crappy attitudes to a laid back society.

totally agree. i had never heard of "the fish are biting" as a legitimate excuse for not coming to work. it was literally used in Tenn.
we do tend to be more "in a rush" to do everything up here. when I go south it's the first thing I try to acclimate to, and it's not always easy.
