What a sad turn of events. We held a rally and only 3 showed up. I bailed on them as well. Well, lets just say our schedules didnt match due to my poor communication skills. I was in Eureka at noon, saw the PT Cruiser cars show, went to Branson and waived at the Basspro Shop, shot over to Peel's Ferry and was ferried across Table Rock Lake back into AR, and booked it home thru Harrison and got home (270 mi later) just in time to shower and get to my appointment/supper. Went well there too.

Maybe someday all our paths will cross...

Made it to my dads place. Im tired and sore. Still have the trip to get home. Next trip will be less destinations and more sitting on my ass.

Loaded up.

First rest stop in Tejas.

The 65mph state. The highway we took was surrounded by tall trees for miles and miles both Texas and Okey side. At times if felt like the sun was almost gone.

We stayed at the Lakeview Lodge. VERY beautiful place.

These are shots when we first got there that evening.

Back of Lodge which gives you the lovely view of the lake.

Morning shots.

Road through the Beaver Bend Park. One of the coolest places I've rode. You start off by going up the mountain and just get an awesome view right from the start.

Now this is off of Highway 4 which is a nice little two lane road with constant turning. We ended up flying past the sign and went into Cove to gas up so we could do a U-turn to get the pics.

Bye bye 65mph state.

Did a rest stop after going up Highway 23 after doing the 6 miles of tight turns.

Old House.

Made it to Eureka and ate at Sparky's.

This was Cold sauce.

Yup. You still suck.
