That's what made me laugh. If she was Mexican I could half way understand, but naming a black girl after a freaking banana about brought tears to my eyes laughing.

my favorite was a girl named candida (aka a yeast infection)

I am waiting to see a girl named chlamydia, when I do I could die saying I def have seen it all

What about black people that name their kids Asia, or China. Or alternate spellings of Aysia and Chyna?

In the movie 'Waiting...', there are a couple of guys sitting around discussing the possibility of naming a daughter Chlamydia

On CF I remember Dave talking about one mother saying God spoke to her during her delivery and said the most beautiful word she ever heard.

She was so moved by the word she insisted on using it as her newborn daughter's first name.

Dave said it took several hours to convince the woman it wouldn't be fair to name a kid placenta.
